A lovely place to stay in Costa Brava is the Gran Sol Hotel. It is located on a hill so the view you have is of the Mediterranean Sea. You also get a panoramic view of all the great surroundings. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes where you can enjoy the sand and the water. You can also take part in boating or other water related activities.
You can get to town in about 20 minutes where you can find great food, plenty of shopping, and lots of culture that comes to life on many levels. The clubs are a great place to spend your nights! If you don’t want to walk to the beach or town you can take a bus.

Since there are only 44 rooms offered at the Gran Sol Hotel you want to book yours as soon as you know when your travel dates will be. The rooms are very clean and nice so they do tend to book up fast. Each offers a lovely private balcony where you can experience the view on your own terms.
Facilities
The atmosphere at the restaurant is inspiring with windows that show you a view of the sea. You can choose to consume food from the buffet or your can order from the menu. There is a bar in the lobby and there is also one out there by the swimming pool area.
A children’s playground and a garden are around the swimming pool. There is also an ice cream bar that is open out there during the summer months. The gym has plenty of great equipment, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna.
